A massive thank you to Terry’s Reading Walkabouts for researching and leading a fascinating community walk in the VPCG area on Saturday 6th January 2024.
From stories of WW1 soldiers to school, dairy maids and Radiohead, to a local murder, finished off with a lovely cuppa, cakes and biscuits at the Barista and Beyond cafe in Chatham Place.
If you couldn’t make this walk, they will be repeated in May and September as part of the Reading Walking Festival. We also raised £145 in charity donations for Terry’s chosen charities Home Start Reading and the Reading Ukrainian Centre today.
